Who we are

This site, www.shuttletech.dev, belongs to Shuttle Technologies Pty Ltd (“Shuttle Tech”, “we”), a software development company in South Africa. We are responsible for the personal information described here. Questions or requests go to pieter@shuttletech.dev.

What we collect

When you book a call: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), what you tell us you need (including cost calculator answers you send along) and the time you pick.

When you arrive from a Google ad: the ad’s click reference, stored in your browser for up to 90 days and saved with your booking if you book.

When you browse: how you use the site, such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and your device and browser type, through the tools listed under Cookies below.

How we use it

To set up and hold the call you booked, send you the calendar invite and reply to you.

To see which ads and pages lead to bookings, improve the site and show our ads to people likely to need our work. We don’t sell your information.

Cookies, advertising and remarketing

We use the Google Ads tag to measure our ads. When you book a call, the tag sends Google your email address and phone number in hashed (scrambled) form, so Google can match the booking to the ad you clicked.

We use Google Ads remarketing to show our ads to people who have visited this site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to show ads based on your past visits to this site and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google’s Ad Settings, or opt out of many vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info.

We use Microsoft Clarity to record how visitors use the site (session recordings and heatmaps), with cookies, to find what’s confusing and fix it. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.

Who helps us process it

Vercel (hosting), Neon (the database that keeps bookings), Resend (sends booking emails), Google (ads and measurement) and Microsoft (Clarity). Some of them store data outside South Africa, under their own privacy and security terms.

How long we keep it

Bookings and emails are kept while we’re talking or working together, and for as long as the law requires after that. Ask us and we’ll delete yours sooner where we can.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to us using it for marketing. Email pieter@shuttletech.dev. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
